Performance Reporting & Monitoring
Though often overlooked, a critical step in the investment process is the ongoing supervision of investment managers. ERISA and the Third Restatement actually require such in-depth monitoring. These mandated procedures have practical applications to all institutional investors.

At Strategies LLC, we employ state-of-the-art performance monitoring systems to furnish very detailed and thorough reports. These reports encompass two primary themes -- performance evaluation and performance measurement.

Performance evaluation incorporates a top-down analysis of the factors that contributed to the returns of a portfolio. For example, one can review such varied items as a manager's asset and style allocation, market capitalization, credit quality and regional weightings.

Armed with this knowledge, our clientele can then proceed to measure the performance of their portfolios in a well-informed manner. Not only can they review the returns against appropriate benchmarks, but also employ the necessary tools to measure the risks taken to achieve those returns.

Casually looking at performance is inadequate, to say the least. In an age where ever larger sums are at stake, fiduciaries and other institutional investors need to thoroughly monitor their portfolios. At Strategies LLC, we have the tools to make that possible.
